Amazon Mturk

Try Amazon’s new Mturk program for making money at home. Work from home and set your own hours and pay scale. Each job is called a Hit, Human Intelligence Task. Learn how to make the most of the Amazon Mturk Hits.

Instructions:

Step1

Visit the Amazon Mturk website and sign up as an Mturk worker. You can browse for assignments before you complete a profile, so go ahead and check through the list of HITS before filling out your profile, it’s OK. If you see one you like, you’ll be prompted to create an account.

Step2

Create an account through the Mturk program, following the on-screen instructions. If you already have an Amazon affiliate account, use that information and the account will be automatically created faster.

Step3

Confirm the email address by clicking on the confirmation link in the Amazon Mturk automated email and proceed.

Step4

When you’ve chosen a HIT you’d like to accept, chose the yellow button at the top of the screen and be sure to complete all of the instructions in the assignment.

Step5

Don’t overlook the penny and nickel jobs, sometimes they’re simply market research questions, like “which dress do you like better” or “which person has a more trustworthy face?” Amazon Mturk has a huge variety of assignments, some of which take only a minute to complete.

Step6

Click on the submit button when you’re done and then do another. As soon as the client checks their email, they’ll be able to review your work and release the payment.

Tips & Warnings

* Increase your income by sorting the job list with the highest paying hits first. These will likely involve writing and they usually demand perfect English.

* Be aware of the time requirement on your HIT. When the time expires, so does your claim on the assignment.
